Welcome to my website

I’m Aidan Farrelly and I am a Social Democrats TD for Kildare North.

My role is to bring the voices and concerns of the people of the constituency to the Dail in order to improve the lives of everyone in Kildare North.

Working with young people and in communities inspired me to successfully contest the 2019 local elections for the Social Democrats.

Since the early 1990’s, Kildare has been one of the fastest growing counties in the country but we do not have the education, childcare, healthcare, public transport and disability services to match our population of 250,000 – let alone the expected growth of the next decade.

As Social Democrats we believe that building high quality and accessible public services is the best way to meet these challenges – and enable everyone in Kildare to thrive.

I am the party’s spokesperson on Youth and Transport, and I am a member of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
